At Team PGL we’ve put our thinking helmets on, drawn upon our 65 years of outdoor education experience and carefully curated a new programme – designed especially for Year 4 pupils.
With all areas of the trip thoughtfully planned and created with young guests in mind, we’ll keep them busy and engaged outside the classroom from dawn till dusk.
A gentle start to their first adventure
The perfect way to gently support your group’s development – take their first step into a lifetime of adventure with Pioneers!
Short one-night durations and locations within two hours of most schools mean that pupils can get stuck into their first adventure away from home without the onset of homesickness.
Adventures thoughtfully designed for younger children
The activities in this programme are perfectly matched to the age and ability of early KS2 pupils.
Bespoke programming also features earlier mealtimes, a child-friendly menu with options to suit all tastes, hot chocolate in the evening to provide some home comforts and early bedtimes to recharge your young adventurers’ batteries.
A supportive environment to build confidence
Our expert team provide reassurance and your dedicated ‘Groupie’ will be on-hand throughout your stay, ensuring you’re in the right place at the right time and have everything you need to get the most out of your pupils’ first PGL adventure.
We’ll even provide extra support at bedtime, meaning you can focus on your pupils’ needs.
